Maile Pacumio (Pronounced My-lee Pa-KYOO-mi-o)  (ดอกไม้, b.2002) is a Filipino-Thai composer, instrumentalist, and educator. Her music is inspired by her synesthetic experiences, multicultural upbringing and everyday life, creating connections between sound and color.

Maile's work has been premiered locally and internationally by ensembles such as Orquestra Sinfônica do Teatro Nacional, Turkish American Orchestra, Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, Counter)Induction; among any others. They serve as the Composer in Residence and principal Flautist for Alwani Middle Eastern Orchestra.

Pacumio earned her M.M in Music Composition from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University of Long Beach and her B.M Applied Arts & Sciences in Music Composition from San Diego State University. At the Bob Cole Conservatory at CSULB, she had works featured with the CSULB Symphony Orchestra and Composer's Guild Concerts. She also worked as a Piano Technician and Graduate Assistant for several undergraduate courses. At San Diego State University, she performed and composed for orchestra, symphonic band, choir, and the javanese gamelan. Eventually, she began to discover her artistic voice by composing for concert ensembles. 

 

Now based in Los Angeles, Maile serves as the Executive Director at Synesthesia Sinfonietta and a Co-Director at Bach to Rock in Long Beach. As an educator, they are committed to creating music accessible to youth ensembles, aiming to inspire young musicians and enrich their learning experiences. Through music, she strives to connect with people and the unique journeys they carry.​
